  Loison Biscotteria (Cookies to Us)

New for 2008, Corti Brothers has imported Loison Cookies or “Biscotteria” which take their origin from the traditional, rustic recipes of Venice and Italy. The “Serenissima” had every possible ingredient available to it. But local taste loved simple, direct, rustic flavors especially those that came from cornmeal. Now you can experience them for yourself. They are all butter and delicacy, six different cookies, in elegant, 250g (8.8oz) cream colored boxes. Price: $8.99 each.

Loison Canestrelli Biscotteria at Corti Brothers Loison Canestrelli Biscotteria (Butter cookies) (#2164)
Ligurian, not Venetian in origin, these butter shortbread cookies are circular, scallop edged, friable, and melt in your mouth.

Sold out.
